JB - Chairman & CEO

Jerreh Barrow

Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Geology from University of Ghana, Legon (2004) and a Master's Degree in Applied Geophysics from Chiang Mai University, Thailand (2008).

Previously served as Commissioner for Petroleum (2015–2021) and Director General of the Petroleum Commission (2021–2026). Instrumental in the first successful Petroleum licensing round (2017–2019), reform of the downstream subsector, and setting up the Petroleum Commission as an autonomous institution.

Abdou - Director

Abdou Barrow

Board Member

Graduated from DeVry Institute with an Honors Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (1996). Worked with Intel (1996–1999) and later joined EMA, rising to General Manager. Has over 30 years of experience in the electrical engineering business.

Works with renowned brands such as Schneider Power Electric in Austria and Li-I in Germany. Pioneered the concept of Power Side's DriveScan Remote Monitoring Device and contributed to its design and development.

Instrumental in EMA's growth from a local business to a mid-sized technology firm with clientele across Europe, USA and Asia.

Foday Madi Barrow - Director

Foday Madi Barrow

Board Member

Norwegian national of Gambian origin with over 40 years of professional experience. His background reflects a strong combination of Scandinavian professional standards and Gambian cultural values.

Holds a Master's degree in Municipal Engineering and Hydrotechnics from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). Has worked extensively as a municipal and civil engineer, serving Aurkog-Holand Municipality, Nordre Follo Municipality, and currently COWI AS.

Worked on a major airport project in Oman, as well as water supply projects in Lebanon and Sudan.
